Although each type of planet is different, each one of the same type, such as a Mars-like planet, will have the same surface layout. Despite being immovable, each planet is still wholly destructible.Īlthough it might seem like it, the planets are not procedurally generated. For example, two planets spawning incredibly close to one another will not converge. It remains static, in place, and will not be drawn in by gravitational pulls of other assets in the game. Volumetric objects behave like real physical objects with mass, inertia and velocity. ![]() Volumetric objects are structures composed from block-like modules interlocked in a grid. The game can be played either in single or multiplayer modes. Space Engineers features a realistic, volumetric-based physics engine: everything in the game can be assembled, disassembled, damaged and destroyed. ![]()
